Placemaking and Place-branding

Placemaking involves finding novel uses for empty or underused spaces and turning them into attractions where people want to go and where business wants to be located. This includes the use of events and communication campaigns to build a sustainable community-driven brand. It means finding solutions with communities to ignite resilience from within. We believe that culture-based initiatives are essential to urban revitalisation and urban renewal programs. We work together with landlords, local councils, and community groups to bring sustainable change to communities. We identify community challenges, build on existing community assets, and involve community members through participatory design.
